About

Danny Enright is a comedy writer, stand-up performer, improviser, speaker, and adult educator based in Vancouver.

Danny creates comedy in live, written, and audio forms, including stand-up, improv, satirical writing, character pieces, and observations about aging, queer life, Tourette Syndrome, work, relationships, Canada, and the general absurd beauty of being human. His comedy is shaped by a lifelong fascination with behaviour, identity, language, shame, connection, and the strange things people do while insisting they are being normal.

Alongside his comedy work, Danny brings more than 25 years of experience in adult education. He has created courses on topics including The Great Enough Trainer, The Psychology of Excellent Customer Service, and Performing Perfect Weddings. His professional work explores how people learn, change habits, understand themselves, and connect more effectively.

Danny’s lived experience with Tourette Syndrome deeply influences both his comedy and speaking. He uses humour, honesty, and practical insight to help audiences better understand tics, difference, acceptance, self-awareness, and the social experience of being visibly different.

This site includes samples of Danny’s comedy writing, audio pieces, performance work, books, speaking topics, and developing projects.
